A candle with a small body and long wicks on both sides — a period of genuine two-way fighting with no resolution.
Spinning tops mark a genuine two-way fight, and they cluster where a move is losing conviction. A run of them often precedes a range.
The difference from a doji is only degree — a doji has almost no body, a spinning top has a small one.
