Candles
A candle that closes above where it opened — buyers finished the period in control.
A bullish candle says buyers won that period, not that they will win the next one. Its weight depends on context: one inside a downtrend is a bounce until structure says otherwise.
Read the body against recent candles rather than in isolation. A large bullish body after several small ones marks a change in participation; the same body among equally large candles is unremarkable.
